I'd like to wish all the Ethiopians out there a Happy New Year and a prosperous new millennium. That's right. It's the year 2000 for them. We've had our new milennium for seven years now, and look what we've done to it!The Coptic calendar is about seven years behind our Gregorian calendar which means for those people on the ball, like my pal Mad Cabbie, bringing in the new century can be done twice!
