Happy Birthday Ian

My eldest boy turned 24 today! He has become one very handsome man. Here he is at 8 and a half months. He's very proud of his two little teeth.

Here is Ian with his gran and brother Sean at Ian's wedding this summer.
I'm proud of the man he has become. I would just like to know where the last 24 years have gone. It seems like just five minutes ago he was an incredibly beautiful bald headed little baby.

You are kind of like my dad - he has had a kid in every decade for the past four decades. I hope he doesn't go for the next decade. It's always fun to throw people off when I say "I have a two year old brother!"

Happy birthday to Ian. Both he and his brother are very good looking dudes. I hope he has a fun celebration!

Hi Peggy, it is amazing how fast they grow up. Your tree looks good even with a wonky star. Is old Bill coming over for Christmas? I guess you just have to wait and see, it sure would be nice to think of him nice and warm on Christmas day.

Merry Christmas young lady!

Mad - their dad was a brother. Sadly, he died about 16 years ago when the boys were very small.

...which is, by the way, the only way I can possibly think of them, even confronted with their matured(?) largeness in person. Even when Ian swang by our haus a couple years ago; there was a big galoot sitting on the patio chair, but I was actually talking to an eight-year-old kid in brief snippets in between mashing a throw-pillow into his moosh with a guttural "PIE!"
