Stuff Keeps Showing Up

It has been so wet this spring I never got a chance to plant anything in that nicely dug up vegetable patch.

The tadpoles are quickly becoming frogs.

This wee man has almost completed the transformation.  The tail is almost completely absorbed.

The newts are getting fat too.

I haven't seen the diving beetle larvae.  They might be pupating because they were the size of a decent shrimp the last time I looked.

If we leave the light on by the back door we will have moths on the wall in the morning.   Here are two beauties that visited this week.

Buff tip - looks like a bit of birch twig!

Time Flies When You're Busy!

I've been up to my neck lately.
Poppy in front of the house
I've got this new job you see.  I will not say what it is that I do or who I work for.  I will say that I am enjoying it, but for the first few weeks (month and a half) I've been away every week for part of the week.  This is for product training etc . . . For purposes of remaining employed, that is all I will say about work.
June Lupin show!

I get to stay in lovely hotels and focus on nobody other than myself . . .but after a while, you miss things like your spouse, big soap and hot tea.   Soap in hotels the world over comes in little tiny bars.  The tea is made with hot water from an urn once the tea is made is never hot enough.  The coffee is fine, but I'm a tea drinker.

So since then the little tadpoles in the pond have sprouted tiny little legs.  The Greater Diving Beetle larvae are the size of a substantial prawn, the grass alway needs mowing and there is laundry to do . . . .

Meanwhile my dear little blog languishes.
Rinsing the dive gear after a dive

In the few days that I have had at home, I have actually managed to get some diving in.  Where there's a will there's a way.   I didn't take the camera underwater with me as I was busy being the dive leader.  Not only do I get to dive, but I get to boss people about!  Super awesome!

We went to what is rapidly becoming my favourite diving spot (within a few hours drive), Loch Fyne.  The water was quite clear and the loch was full of sea life!

Last weekend we actually had some sunny weather and I got our sheets washed and dried.   This beautiful little bug few onto the sheets.

Cream-spot Ladybird

True to form, I ran in the house for the camera.

Now that the dust has settled, let's see if I can manage to squeeze out a few extra blog entries in the weeks to come.
