The reason Starlings are my favourite bird

Isn't this magnificent? This is a flock near Rome, but there is a flock near Gretna that puts on a show that is just as magnificent. I haven't been able to film it yet, but I wanted you to see how wonderful they are!

Wow...quite an air show. It is an amazing show when they are flocking like that.

Glad you liked it Alan. I never noticed them when I lived in the US. Do American starlings do the same?

I don't think I have ever seen this type flocking before personaly but have seen a couple of videos similar to yours of Starlings. Here is a link to a very interesting video about Starlings flocking on a couple of Cedar trees taken here in the US.

Those are birds? That's amazing! I've never seen anything like that. I would have ran out of fear that it was bees. Killer ones if my imagination got away with me.
