Aunt Vicky and Cousin Emily

Two days in to our holiday we were joined by Henry's sister Victoria and her seventeen year old daughter Emily.

One evening we had drinks at a place overlooking Naama Bay in Sharm El Sheikh. If you look past V & E you can see the Sinai mountains. Here is a better shot of the mountains as seen from our comfy vantage point. I don't know which one of these is the famous Mount Sinai of Ten Commandments fame, but it's in this range somewhere. I've never seen a starker more bare bunch of mountains. There is nothing green on them at all. Climbing them would be an exercise in skinned knees. I can't imagine dragging the twelve tribes of Israel across them.

Interesting fact: The arabic word for teeth is sina. The mountains and indeed the whole region are named after these mountains that look like teeth.
